Brett Obenauf  Principal & CFO

Brett is a commercial real estate professional with more than 20 years combined industry experience. From his 10 years of property management experience with one of Central Ohio’s leading commercial real estate firms, Brett has an insider’s perspective on the demands of a property manager, understands how to keep operating costs down and what it takes to maintain tenant relations. Brett is a graduate of The Ohio State University’s Max M. Fisher College of Business with a B.S. degree in Business Administration focusing on Finance and Real Estate / Urban Development. Brett also maintains an Ohio Real Estate license. As the Chief Financial Officer, Brett oversees company operations to ensure efficiency, quality, service, and the cost effective management of resources. Brett is also essential to developing and implementing strategic plans to advance the company’s mission and to promote revenue, profitability, and growth. In addition, his daily responsibilities include generating proposals and contracts, budgeting, accounting, and sales development.

Rob McDevitt  Principal & COO

A graduate of The Ohio State University, Rob is a business management specialist with extensive hands on experience in employee-employer relations. His previous 17 years of experience in commercial sales and business management prepared Rob with the skills to oversee overall project management from start to finish. Rob ensures the quality of Pinnacle’s work from both employees and contractors, while prioritizing schedules and workload to meet clients’ budgets and timelines. Rob is also licensed with the Ohio Department of Agriculture. As the Chief Operations Officer, Rob oversees: the management of staff; work schedules and specific duties; directs and coordinates activities concerning the production, pricing, sales, and distribution of products; establishes and implements department policies, goals, and objectives; ensures cost effective management of resources. In addition, his daily responsibilities include maintaining employer/employee relations, employee morale, and recruiting the industry’s top talent.

Trent Douglas
V.P. of Business Development

Trent joined Pinnacle in 2011 and brings over 20 years of experience to the team. Trent’s duties include landscape design, estimation, project management, business development, and client relations. Trent was raised in the landscaping industry with his family’s Garden Center and Hardscape Installation Company. In 2002, Trent earned his degree in Horticulture from The Ohio State University. Along with attending numerous classes and seminars in the landscaping and snow removal industry, Trent is a licensed Commercial Fertilizer and Pesticide Applicator and a certified Concrete Paver Installer. His vast industry knowledge, hands-on experience, and customer service skills makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Chris Stacy
Operations Manager

Chris joined Pinnacle in 2019 as the Operations Manager. Chris graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a degree in Landscape Contracting. Chris came to us from Western Massachusetts and brings over 25 years of experience in landscaping, snow removal, and customer service in hospitality. Working in the field for most of his career, Chris understands that a company relies on employees who work in the field to provide the best service for our customers. He has built strong relationships within the industry to help recruit, mentor, and train some of Pinnacle Landscaping's top talent. Chris is passionate about strengthening relationships with team members for their long-term growth and to produce quality work for our customers.

Alesia Campbell
Office Manager

Alesia Campbell is an Office Manager with an additional focus on Human Resources at Pinnacle Landscaping. She brings over seven years of experience in office management, recruiting, marketing, and human resources. She holds a BA degree in Technical and Applied Studies from Ohio University. Her career experience has allowed her to be diverse within the business field. As a member of the Pinnacle Landscaping team, Alesia is dedicated to Pinnacle Landscaping values, supporting team members, and all strategic planning initiatives within her role.

Jess Maslar
Account Manager

Jess Maslar works as an Account Manager at Pinnacle Landscaping. He brings over ten years of experience in the green industry and specializes in anything above and beyond a typical maintenance package. He specializes in hardscapes, softscapes, aquatics, heavy equipment operation, irrigation, lighting, and pesticide knowledge. He is dedicated to delivering quality work and is passionate about managing proper horticulture practices. Jess holds an Associate's Degree in Landscape Horticulture from The Ohio State University. Jess is committed to steering the future of the landscape industry in the right direction by volunteering with local vocational schools that offer landscape-specific programs. Jess collaborates with the instructors to ensure the students are getting current knowledge of the ins and outs of the industry. As a member of the Pinnacle Landscaping team, Jess is committed to working alongside our customers and their needs and is passionate about providing industry professional development to our current and future employees.
